CPP (Chlorinated Polypropylene) resin is primarily used as a high-performance binder for printing inks on BOPP films and as an adhesion promoter for coatings on PP plastic surfaces, such as automotive parts and household appliances.
It has excellent solubility in aromatic hydrocarbons (Toluene, Xylene) and esters (Ethyl Acetate). We also offer specific ester-soluble grades for environmentally friendly ink formulations.
Selection depends on your required chlorine content (typically 26%–40%) and viscosity. Generally, higher chlorine content improves solubility in esters, while viscosity affects the coating thickness and flow.
